i was wondering how to add files and run a batch file on my vps.

i have been trying for sometime but havent been able to figure it out.

i tried with putty then with nomachine but the remte desktop confuses me and for putty i tried some commands but when i try to run the batch file that runs my game it says no file or directory.

if u can help with some instructions on how to do it or show me to a tutorial on here but i wasnt able to find one.

also how can i portforward the vps's and run programs on it with java??

It sounds like you're unfamiliar with Linux. A VPS is a great way to learn.

You can transfer files to your VPS using sftp (secure ftp) which is built in to any server running ssh. You can use that protocol with FileZilla.

You will need to consult the installation docs for your software for instructions on how to install it.
