I am looking at your CPanel VPS plans.

Can you please tell me which CentOS, which CPanel, which EasyApache, PHP and MySQL versions is your current configuration?

And what you preconfigure/manage for us in the way of security?

We use CentOS 7 for new installs, and you can configure the version of MySQL, PHP and Apache using the EasyApache script.

Basically we use the most up-to-date version possible of cPanel and CentOS, so you have every option open to you. Smile

So it sounds like it is not production level ready for website hosting when we get it?

We will need to make the decisions about which of the apache option to choose, for example? And configure by ourselves things like log rotation, nameservers, disabling risky/unneeded services and ports? So we need to plan to spend several hours (aside from the obvious like adding our plans) going through WHM page by page comparing our existing settings and learning about any new options.

Your chart says "hardened" - can you elaborate on the security and monitoring?

Thank you.

The default settings of the server suit most users out of the box, but if you want to customize, you can. We are happy to make any specific changes you need for you, but the default cPanel setup is pretty good and will suit almost everybody.

When migrating an account backup, all/most settings should be brought over automatically.
