I notice your LAMP images, the PHP is not really compiled with absolutely everything. You could also stand to put a full out version of GD (not just the included one with PHP source). Makes it a lot easier to get up and running out of the box instead of removing the PHP and re-compiling from source.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution. Including every possible option in the php build will use up extra resources and slow PHP down.

Only the most common libraries have been included in our LAMP template, but you're free to adjust it as you like.

Just an update, I've been successful in modifying the core image to suit my needs, and I have now a fully functional PHP setup. I even had some problems with MySQL and your staff helped me out.
