With all the hype around the name change of Lxadmin, I am wondering if I should upgrade or if that's even possible. I would prefer not to for a while.

The updates are not really optional, as they include security updates. As vulnerabilities are published, the update is the only thing keeping your server safe.

You will want to update ASAP.

I am on LXAdmin and have just updated to the latest version (5.0.16292). How do I move to Kloxo?

There is a kloxo upgrade script in the /scripts directory on your server.

Ok, thanks. I see there are many scripts in there. How do I know which one? Also can I optain a detail list of what the various scripts are and programs you included in this VPS system?

Thanks,

I found this from the kloxo forum.

/script/upcp

still nervous about doing this. Not clear what to do from here. I guess I should back up my server first and try it.

let me know how you make out with your update.

I did this

/script/upcp
/script/kloxo-upgrade.sh

as described here: http://forum.lxlabs.com/index.php?t=msg&goto=64818&

After a reboot, everything seemed to be working.

...waiting for more bad news from the project... Sad
