It appears that the default resolv.conf contains 205.234.170.215 and 205.234.170.217, both of these domains seem to have wildcards pointing to 205.234.170.218.

e.g Trying to discern why one of google's mail servers was being bounced:

mjc@fortress ~ % dig 224.198.85.209.zen.spamhaus.org @205.234.170.217

; <<>> DiG 9.4.3-P1 <<>> 224.198.85.209.zen.spamhaus.org @205.234.170.217

Editing these nameservers out works as a workaround, but really, this should be fixed by default.
